He failed to mention the fact that they still have to disclose the fact that the home had uffi installed after the cost of removing it. That is stamped on that house forever!
ReplyDeleteWe had Retrofoam installed in our home and I read a news article from Mike Holmes that it was the home owners fault for not looking into the products contents/approval...even though it was recommended by name by Canadian/Federally licensed auditors that did the evaluation through the eco energy program. Hmmmm???
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but the homeowners seem very clueless in this particular episode. If you smell mold in your basement, why rent it? Especially to your own child's daycare provider-- or to anyone for that matter. Could you imagine McGillivray's reaction? Mold smell is obvious and known to be dangerous. These homeowners were not wise whatsoever!!!
