    Mike and co. Can you recomend a reliable wood / frame company in the Los Angeles area? I have a very large beam that is very damaged and I need someone who really knows the right thing to do. I have had several companies come and give me estimates and all have had very different ideas on what to do. I am no stranger to hard work or light building but their ideas have been horrible and in my opinion, Dangerous!!! Please help me find the right way to fix this problem before it gets worse or someone gets hurt.

The beam that goes through the family room is 9 x 16 and is freestanding with all of the beams balanced on top of it. If this is not done correctly it could be catastrophic. I've health problems and much, much more that has happened in the last 4 yrs. I'm afraid we're going to lose everything due to this.I hope you can help.I don't know what else to do.
