Lots of questions coming in about how the house we built in New Orleans weathered Hurricane Isaac. I'm happy to report that there was no significant damage to any of the homes in Ward 9! They were built right. http://holmesinneworleans.com/
Mike Holmes is often mocked and ridiculed to various degrees for overbuilding houses, for building far above the minimum code, and expecting other builders to do the same. I'm sure the people who live in those homes in New Orleans are grateful for Mike's uncompromising standards. They still have homes to return to at the end of the day.
