Recently, Mike Holmes took a short break from filming and sat down for a rather entertaining phone interview for the Down and Dirty radio show with designer Frank Fontana, the "Straight Guy With a Queer Eye" host of the HGTV design show Design on a Dime. During the course of the show, several engaging topics were covered, including stinky contractors with BO, butt cracks, being paid in Poutine, and Mike being a hit with the ladies in the 60+ crowd. They also talked about Mike's new book "Mike Holmes: Kitchens and Bathrooms" which came out a couple days ago. Mike couldn't help but talk about homeowners educating themselves and working with the general contractor, as opposed to leaning too heavily on the designer. It was a super laid back, down and dirty interview that both Mike and the hosts seemed to enjoy!
